APOD: "Due to the lapse in federal government funding, NASA is not updating this website."

During the last two Republican Shutdowns APOD *did* continue. Not this time though as NASA has been under sustained attract by the Regime

Yesterday's APOD was of a supernova remnant from only ten-thousand years ago. A blink in time, but from a time before all of written human history.

For about thirty years I've started my day with this marvelous window onto the universe which oft leads to at least a moment of self-reflection

Another daily site, NASA Earth Image of the Day, has also not been updated. However, there is no statement confirming why.

On the Bright Side, recall the recent APOD comet images. All three are visible in the October sky as "Camera Comets"
