Anyone noticing how quiet our catholic apologists are becoming?

As more and more evidence of criminal and evil behavior continues to indict the hierarchy of the church, it is becoming more and more obvious that those in the laity who failed to strongly oppose the cover-ups by obfuscating and making excuses, hoping this would all stay under the rug are going to share a piece of the responsibility for their support, by no longer having any credibility on anything having to do with this.

And that is a good thing. I will certainly not be giving anyone who continues to obfuscate and deflect, as some have done here on DU, any platform at all from which they can continue their piss-poor excuses. I hope you will do the same.

And without me, there is no "all of us." Why anyone would make excuses for systematic international child rape is not something I'm sure I understand.

By...uh...still going to services every week and...um...continuing to give them money. That always works when it comes to forcing corrupt institutions to own up to and stop the bad things they're doing, right?

Here's a link to an ancient parody song I did on this awful subject.
BTW should you decide to listen, LoFi plays just as well as HiFi @ Sound Lift & you may add to the 323 votes my song now has
