Facts.. the enemy of those who believe. I have read about this man for a few years and he is one of those who stand up to religious fakery in India.

(49,533 posts)I agree his life is in danger if he returns. But by not returning, the charlatans win as well.
People simply don't take kindly to having their precious beliefs questioned, let alone proven false.

But that is the rub, isn't it. Their faith isn't that strong, its made of glass and they have to protect it from facts at any cost. Blasphemer must be silenced because their all powerful deity is helpless before a mere mortal.
