Why do Xtians make a BFD out of moral choices?

Atheists have to make moral choices too, but Xtians act like every single choice is a BFD.

I guess agonizing over moral choices is part of their public display of righteousness to bolster their shaky beliefs.

Basically, it reads like a recruiting tool to me.

Earth doesn't really matter that much in their outlook.

You make these choices and god factors that into your afterlife expectations. (Despite the fact that it's about faith ... whatever)

God gave them the free will to be good or bad....so it is so important to god that they are good. And from what I hear, it is apparently the only reason that they choose the moral route.

Anybody want to talk about the thousands of Southern Xians who made the moral choice to oppose the civil rights movement and back white supremacy? I didn't think so.

How about all those German Xians, Protestant and Catholic, who made the moral choice to support Hitler? Even after they knew what was happening to their Jewish neighbors.

Or more recently, all the American Xians working against marriage equality? I know, they're just a small minority of assholes who are outnumbered by the good lib'rul Xians. Or so I'm told. That's probably why Prop 8 was defeated in California and no states currently have laws against marriage equality, or are actively trying to pass such laws.

You can't make choices about what to eat or drink without religion. If I weren't a Christian, I would be snacking on my neighbors maple tree about now. Or my own cell phone, or cat, or god forbid a ham and cheese sandwich. I'll never trust an atheist chef, and god knows there are no atheists in supermarkets.
