2. I went to a Church once to see a flute recital

the church had this giant 8 foot Jesus on a cross sculpture hanging behind my friend playing the flute. It was the creepiest fucking thing on the planet. I kept thinking holy shit when people get married in this church that dead body is an every photograph. That's disturbing.

Anyway, the giant "crucifix" floating over the altar had Jesus actually stepping off the cross and coming thru the air toward you... arms outstretched.

and the ones who feature the bad plaster art of both Jesus and Mary being surprised in the middle of coronary bypass operations.

Protestants only show the execution device without the bloodied corpse on it. It's almost restful after growing up in the midst of gore, shame, and denial.

7. I've been in Catholic hospitals with Giant Jesus-On-A-Stick(s) sculptures hanging on walls.
