and I think it was the nicest way she could think of to say it.
I don't like it when someone leaves a message on the phone that ends with
"have a blessed day", especially when they don't know me.
If it is said to everyone, as in a check-out line, I don't like it either.
But I have to admit, I AM selective as to when it bothers me.

(28,151 posts)It's along the lines of my answer if someone tries to talk religion (in the "save me" sort of way): "I think religious belief is such a personal topic, don't you?"
Most take the hint from that, once in a while that is not quite enough but that is rare.
