Weather Watchers
Related: About this forumThis is weird. I'm on the west coast of Florida near Tampa. With this storm blowing thru and being just after
sunset my neighborhood is a weird orange glow to it. I guess the sun is shining thru all the various cloud density's... Very eerie to see everything orange...
queue the twilight zone intro..

(15,876 posts)this is just gonna be a lot of rain. I'm also quite high here at 60 feet above sea level..
Run from the water, hide from the wind..
I love the visuals mother nature provides... The "orange light show" only lasted for about 3-5 min or so..

Weve had orange skies in the morning and at twilight here in Texas for a while because of it.

(1,406 posts)The sky was orange during the storm on Monday. Felt eerie then and took a picture at 8:16 pm. Sounds similar to your description.

Not tonight, though. Very oddly dark for over an hour. And spooky silent. As you say - weird.
