warm but not uncomfortable at 5pm...

The inland valley ( the big valley from TV days ) heats up a lot in the summer time... hot air rises, cold air off the Pacific blows inland to replace the hot air, thus the natural A/C of San Francisco and Oakland ( and San Jose ).

It's always funny to see the tourists in San Francisco in July, August, and September... they are wearing t-shirts and shorts... the locals are in long pants, hoodies, leather jackets. But I tell my out of town visitors to always dress in layers as mid day can always be warm ( 80s ) and then you will freeze your chi-chi's off by 5pm or 6pm.

Anyway, enjoyed my little trip to Sonora... I will return later in the summer sometime.
