Wisconsin State Fair officials announced the fair will not reopen Sunday following flash flooding that forced an early closure Saturday night.

On Saturday, the heavy rain caused the Root River to overflow along Cleveland Avenue, creating dangerous conditions for motorists and pedestrians.

fairgrounds were already flooding. They had two cars and the kids were going to enjoy Sunday.
They had a fairly cheap motel 15 miles from the grounds and my sister said they were lucky that they left early as their parking lot was already mushy.

So much for that.
