years ago I worked as a Residence Hall Director at a school known well for it's excellent meteorology department. All of my RA's were meteorology majors and a couple always got excited about tornado season and would take time off to go chase storms...
not the same, I know, but reminded me... all wonderful people

Takes about a two hour class. Then there's advanced courses which I'm taking next year.
