4. Dallas County is Selma (county seat)

Selma's my hometown, although I haven't lived there since 1971. I went to my 50th high school reunion there in June 1968 and buried an older brother next to my parents there in November 2019.

5. There was a U. of Ala. softball game canceled today.

Well, actually it was scheduled to be played this afternoon/evening, but they canceled it yesterday, citing poor weather forecast. Apparently that was a good call.
