Lyrid meteor shower: The best times to look up and see shooting stars

Calling all stargazers! It's the first major meteor shower of the year. The annual Lyrid Meteor Shower occurs in mid-April and, this year will be visible from April 16 to April 25 with peak viewing between midnight April 21 and dawn on April 22. . .

The best time to view the Lyrids is between midnight to dawn, especially after the waxing moon sets. Happy stargazing!
