Japans heat is taking a toll on the summer Olympics, making it more difficult for athletes already facing challenges from the pandemic to compete at their highest level.
The heat is tough -- its very humid, dense heat, U.S. rugby player Ilona Maher told Bloomberg on Wednesday. Our dietitian and trainer create ways to somehow cool our bodies -- whether its cool towels or we eat popsicles.

facilities to prepare. The women's 8 won the gold for Canada.

Humid, dense heat is the WORST! (Had it growing up in NY area; hence beaches were popular.
