2. Much hotter here in Jacksonville FL.

It was 73 at sunup today with beautiful clear skies. High is 84, and the humidity is way down with light breezes so a perfect sunny near fall day here. If the season follows it's traditional path, it will cool down greatly by the end of next week and we will probably start wearing jeans & enclosed shoes again.

My best friend lives on the outskirts of Merced, is that near you? Sounds like the same weather she was telling me about yesterday.

4. It's Been Mid Summer Hot In Central Ohio

Looks like finally we will get more fall like weather in a couple of days.

I don’t recall consistent temperatures in the mid 80s this deep into October here. It looks look like we’ll get more normal October weather in a couple days.

But looking at what’s been going on around the USA it should be making it harder to deny Global Warming but I wouldn’t bet on it.

5. Dreading Winter.

I lived in Tucson from 1979 to this past April. then I moved to Atchison, Kansas.
It's 64° today. I'm dreading the onslaught of my first real winter in decades!
