(10,266 posts)7. A week and a half ago we got 2-4 inches in town
and 15+ 12 miles away and 4000 feet higher. (SW Idaho). About 30 years ago, on June 13, about the same thing happened - enough to do some skiing up in the hills.
Edit: What it looked like later that evening:

That snow was a real tree breaker. those that didn't cover their gardens that night woke up to a having to replant because of frost

It is supposed to keep up until Sunday. The tree branches are already bowing.
