the moon was high compared to Venus

'early' in the moon's rise, unlikely I'd see Venus @ that hour. This out my bedroom window over creek, to the east.

Venus was below and a bit to the right. my guess is that in 15 you would be able to see it.
this morning the moon will be more to the left and a significant distance above Venus
i have pics from yesterday

Unlikely anything moon-wise will be visible tonight, but I'll check for planets when I do get to bed 'tonight.' Cloudy forecast here til 3-4 a.m, and it's a New Moon, 0% visible!!!
