tomorrow (later, 9/8,) Waxing Gibbous, 93% visible and 'Mostly Clear,' and Friday, 9/9, Full Moon, 98% visible, and CLEAR, for September's Harvest Moon, is not anything like the others!

1. We had a few hours of wind...

Along with high temps, was predicted to get over 100F today but the clouds showed up and rained on us a bit but nothing cooled down until after sunset. It has been very smoky lately, everything is orange, stars, moon - all night long - sunrise and set are dark red and the smell of doused campfire fills the air.

Luckily there is more of the clouds, rain and significantly lower temps, like in the 60s for daily high coming over the weekend! Woo hoo! I can't wait! We're supposed to have rain and clouds but I don't think it will be totally overcast.
