This is a hard time. You know he's dying and it's difficult.

I hope he is comfortable.........and I wish the same for you.

they are for end of life and keeping the patient as comfortable as possible. Ive got mine all set (cancer, terminal). I dont want the burden on my family. Hospice knows the drugs etc that will keep me comfortable, my family cant know, nor can they prescribe them. Hospice can.

Good luck on your uncles journey. Hope he goes out as pain free as he can and has a comfortable end of life period.

Hospice is a good thing. They took care of my dad and brother in law a few years ago.

Tonight at 12:10, it will 15 years that I watched my mother take her last breath in the hospital from lung cancer. (I used to throw away her cigarettes and it was cold comfort that she conceded I was correct many years later.)

I hope your uncle's transition and journey are peaceful.

My condolences.
