For just a minute, maybe my fantasy might help?

Since I lost my dad to Covid, I've transitioned into brief moments when I imagine a fantasy of him in a heavenly & happy place.

However silly, maybe this might help someone here who lost a loved one???

In this happy place where mind and body are perfect, and new and old favorite friends are beside you, there is a major buzz. Everyone is talking about the BIG news that someone really important is coming soon.

And lo and behold, as they all wait and watch... It's Queen Elizabeth! I just picture the excitement! I picture everyone trying to act cool. I picture my dad trying to curtsy.

Brings a smile to my face.

I think as long as we know they are fantasies, we are ok.
I do this in other ways. I often fantasize how my life might have been different.
I’m not unhappy with my life. It’s just I wish i could start over and do things better.
