South Dakota Powerball Winner Sells 50,000-Acre Ranch for $37 Million

After South Dakota cowboy Neal Wanless won a $232.1 million Powerball prize, he spent some of the winnings on a roughly 50,000-acre ranch. Now, he's sold it for $37 million, more than double what he paid.

You got to be impressed that this guy might be one of the few who won’t be dirt poor in a few years like so many other winners. Clearly, he’s going to manage better.

Not sure about SD but several friends up in Idaho/Montana talk about many of the big high value farms out there have houses that aren't over the top opulent like you would see in a 37million Long Island home (on 2.4 acres).

Don't really know - none of my bazillionaire friends invite me to their places...lol...but it makes sense.

The house looks ordinary.
