From now on, there will be only five precincts. The first covers Rome and Tobin Townships and Ethan Town. Precinct 2 is centered in Baker, Blendon, Mt. Vernon, and Union Townships and Mt. Vernon City.

Precinct 3 is the first to involved part of the city of Mitchell. It starts in the surrounding townships of Badger, Beulah, Lisbon, Mitchell, Perry and Prosper, plus a majority of Mitchell’s Ward 4, which is the area northwest of Highway 37 to Lake Mitchell and the airport. The fourth precinct includes the southern edge of Ward 4 and all of Ward 1, the southwestern portions of the city. The last precinct is made up of Wards 2 and 3, the eastern half of the city.
