I have watched over 25 different videos of the tsunami over the years and every time it still amazes me. Watching how the water flows into certain areas that are flat compared to very steep is interesting. It is like filling a tub up with water, it has nowhere to go. To think that the water wasn't just moving at enormous speeds but there was not only sea water, it was a swirling mess of concrete, wood, metal, etc.

I am always so impressed with the Japanese warning systems, the citizens who are prepared and their buildings' construction/foundation which saved thousands of lives. If this half happened in just about any other country it would have been far more devastating.
