The worst mistake in American filmmaking is coming to an end



My Rape of Nanking movie is being produced. Finally, the horror that took Iris Chang's (RIP) life is coming to the American film market for the first time.

That is a story that definitely needs to be told. My kid read Iris Chang's book sometime in the mid-90s when she was in intermediate school.

There is a stereotype that Japanese people are sneaky. I once knew a Korean lady acupuncturist who told me that Japanese people were sneaky. And here I had an Asian lady telling me that! I was surprised. Didn't know that stereotype was also common in Asia.
