Amazing, Yui! I first saw this years ago on PBS or something.
Where do you suppose this came from? I like to think about how a tradition or specific art form arose? Oftentimes from the natural environment.

I never even knew about this til maybe a year or two ago when someone posted a video on DU about throat singing. So cool!

I love this. The little girl is adorable. She sings well, too.
But how does throat singing occur? I've heard it before and find it fascinating. I wonder if it ever causes the singer to be hoarse. Thanks for sharing this!
