(961 posts)Landoverbaptist is a parody site. I wouldn't take anything there seriously, even the forums.

(56,214 posts)The Landover Baptist Church is a fictional[1] Baptist church based in the fictional town of Freehold, Iowa. The Landover Baptist web site and its associated Landoverbaptist.net Forum are a satire of fundamentalist Christianity and the Religious Right in the United States.

It's a parody site, but sadly and scarily enough, not too far from the truth.

(3,065 posts)You know I went there before I finished reading the entire thread. All I could think was this HAS to be a joke. Then I came back and finished reading the comments and I think I can sleep now.

(1,484 posts)....and true to form, I instantly zero'd in on all of the merit badges that sucker has. When you run your mouse over each one, it instantly tells you what it was awarded for. That guy is really endowed! For instance, he has one for "Punched The Most Queers", there was one with a shaking fist that said "Tell Her Once", The one that pictured a black baby said, "Proud Niglet Sponsor", "The 2010 Witch Hunt Award", and "Ready For The Rapture".
I wonder if his blog site qualifies as art? Nonetheless I was very entertained.
