2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumNot such a strong debate for Hillary
she actually turned off my wife, who was leaning towards her.
She was on the defensive most of the time, didn't really put out any new ideas.

(34,195 posts)Even when they told her that her time had expired
she kept talking, and talking, and talking.
Now Clinton supporters will say "You think a woman should keep quiet?"
No, but when you agree to time limits you should respect your agreement.

(80,708 posts)She sort of biffed it when she tried to suggest, all evidence to the contrary, that silicon valley is soooper-excited to "work with the authorities" to compromise encryption.
But that one practically flew under the radar.

(14,177 posts)while she was answering their was a gasp. It wasn't easy to hear and if you were distracted you might miss it. But, it wasn't a good moment for her.

(5,069 posts)too much like a reality show. The moderators were horrible.

(7,318 posts)that they weren't going to allow her to take their air any more, so they were doing it this time too. Serves the moderators right, because they kept allowing Clinton to get away with it in past debates. Was hard on us as the tv audience though.

(7,723 posts)take away the ACA. I haven't seen much comment about it, but I thought it was sad. Sanders was so much more convincing and strong on healthcare than Hillary was. She didn't even try to offer any fix for the ACA's issues.
