"Contest the black vote at every opportunity. Keep him pinned down there."

"Contest the black vote at every opportunity. Keep him pinned down there." -- That was Hillary Clinton's campaign strategy in 2008 against Barack Obama as administered by her campaign strategist, Mark Penn. That quote is a directive in an email leaked by a member of her campaign and reported by The Atlantic. As I noted in November, it appeared that Mark Penn has been resurrected to be giving advice to the campaign. And as I reported last summer, Clinton is very willing to use race to divide Democratic voters, as she did in 2008, she has tried again in 2016.

It seemed she had stopped doing this for a while, but as her poll numbers have started to drop, she's started to use these ugly tactics again. And some of her supporters here are:

- Taking narrow areas of photos at Bernie's rally's in the south showing only white people, when other pics of the same rally simply repudiate that idea
- Have pointed out his latest ads show Bernie shaking hands with *gasp* white people, as if he doesn't feature anyone but white people in his ads.

These disgusting attacks seem coordinated with the race-baiting attacks by David Brock, former Right Wing Mudslinger supposedly "turned" by the Clintons to doing "good" and now running her Super PAC.

The only difference between now and 2008 is that her competitor is white and they are trying to make him appear to be the racist. Claiming Bernie is a racist has already been pointed out by many Democratic pundits and even some of Hillary's supporters and endorsers as completely wrong and inappropriate. I suggest that unfounded claim of racism against Bernie on this site be met with appropriate discipline and with an automatic hide. There are some things that should be simply off limits. Calling Bernie a racists is one of them.

Or you would understand that a person can see the human in every face, feel despair for events that are not personal.

Some people can feel the pain of a hair lip and send money to Smile and never have had a disfigurement. Some people can cry at the loss of a child that does not belong to them, because they tap into the incredible sadness surrounding a family that has.

There are great courses on empathy, in most cases it can be learned. I must attest that life is better when you have it.

But certain "Dems" have already gone way past that. I took a break from here at the beginning of December after someone used a neo-Nazi, holocaust denying hate site as a source questioning Sanders character. Alerting did nothing. Administrators wouldn't lock.

Yesterday, had another using conspiracy sites of anti-Semitic, red-baiting dog whistles as well as attacking Sanders children in an attempt to say "we don't know who he 'really' is and what he was doing in that foreign country" sound familiar? It should. Its the same style of attacks that birthers and others have used on the president.

If this is how people are rolling here on DU than my return may be very short lived. Not going to participate on a site that directly or indirectly (by failing to act or allowing it to happen) anti-Semitic and racist comments and website sourcing for their "theories".

When I first saw this latest and probably last ad for Iowa and maybe New Hampshire, I was struck by the fact that few people of color and/or other minorities are shown. Being very clear - I love this ad and watch it often. Very moving. Quite frankly, I was initially, also, put off by all the farm scenes - though I love and respect farmers (and am a very small scale home farmer myself.) What I realized is that this ad is geared toward the people of Iowa, who may to a large extent be white and rural. With that I had an insight that gave me a better understanding as to why it is constructed the way it is. I would hope it would be reworked for a wider audience because I posted it on my Facebook page and referred to it as "brilliant." I still believe it is.

Gosh Bob Dole? I actually like him now . true I was one of the first to get online. We could have in 1992 August when we bought Acros PC (which had been bought out by Acer and indeed the idiot selling the thing said it wasn't Acer made. (then why do I have a BIOS chip saying otherwise. Don't have it anymore I just have memory bits and a video card for collectors. ) We got online Jan 1995 using something called AOL 2.0 that came in the mail. We did have a couple others in the option CompuServe was one. (remember them?? lol. I woulda learned more of social media had been around in the 90's. I became political after a conversation between a brother and sister in a Lutheran school had (ahem I had a crush on her yes I still know her. since her dad was my Confirmation pastor, still think she found the fountain of youth) must be that dishwater blond hair of hers. (called dirty blond. meh it's Blond to me but oh well. not Platinum Blond) but they had this conversation in 1988 over Dukakis (sp) and his Abortion stance. Thats when things went a bit left for me. Supposedly he's well liked by many blacks If he were Nominated and won he'd be the most popular Republican from Blacks since Ronald Reagan. If this is true Hillary is missing something enormously foul. True one lesson I've learned is never tell a woman what to do however other women they usually can. So I leave that up to them. Bernie isn't telling her what to do. She's clearly telling him what to do. I'm a film nut. We'll pull Ahhnold out and shoot ever cop car in the parking lot. In return for that nice gesture they shoot him up. 0 dead I don't wanna ask how bullets hit got. Course I say film nut , I'm not entirely a movie nut if I were I'd be excited about suicide Squad X_X bout as boring as Horror films. But thats me. Similarly you can't force me to like something. You can't force me to like a Conservadem. Their loyalty has been bought. a Conservative eh they grew up that way and I generally don't have problems with "conservatives" as voters. Tea Part Voters yes I do. Tea Party is to the Republicans/Conservatives as Conservadems are to Liberals/Democrats. the extremist side (yes thats what I said. Conservadems are Extremists. Just take Tea Party for example, they aren't considered Extremists by those on the right mostly. But on the left sure. Naturally Conservadems aren't considered Extremists . When one thinks of extremists one things way off to the left, I don't think any extremist left will ever gain any traction. and Bernie isn't one of them. Mainly because the extreme Conservadems have driving Liberals further to the right over the years to now where what used to be extremist left is now Liberal. That dirty word that I never understood was dirty. Kept hearing this silly term Progressive. Yeah thats what my bifocals are called. Progressive lens , just the term didn't make any sense when applied to politics. Like um Kris Kringle telling Susan. "Oh it's a a progressive school" as he's lifting his hand up. Yeah thats what my lenses are. Hard to tell where the bifocal part starts. but it steps the magnification up. what does Progressives have anything to do with Liberal??
