Union Endorsements: When Members Decide - It's Bernie; When Leaders Decide - It's Clinton

Bernie Sanders Gets Group Endorsements When Members Decide; Hillary Clinton When Leaders Decide

When it comes to what the word "Establishment" means, there is a pattern worth noting

In the war for endorsements in the Democratic presidential primary, there is a clear trend.

Every major union or progressive organization that let its members have a vote endorsed Bernie Sanders.

Meanwhile, all of Hillary Clintonís major group endorsements come from organizations where the leaders decide. And several of those endorsements were accompanied by criticisms from members about the lack of a democratic process.

Itís perhaps the clearest example yet of Clintonís powerful appeal to the Democratic Partyís elite, even as support for Sanders explodes among the rank and file.

1. Did you put that together?

It's fantastic and should put that whole endorsement thing to rest. (Though it won't because it's really all they had to use for Clinton). Nice job and thanks for posting it.

3. first of all, thank you for posting this.

Secondly, it is clear that the vast influence of the top people inside teh Unions needs examination...

Could it be that the heads of Unions have a good deal of influence.

And they know that Hillary is not all that honest.

Hence they can collect dues from their members, offer up financial support from Hillary, and then get one of two "favors" in return:

One) When the individual who made the decision to finance Hillary wants to continue to be in their top spot at the Union, Hillary Inc will support them

Two) The possibility of "kickbacks." Some of these might not be actual cash "giftings." But if a kid or cousin or mother-in-law needs a job somewhere and that job needs to be "soft and juicy" the Clintons will come through.

Such "niceties" would not come their way through support of Bernie.

4. Union "leaders" are agents of the party Establishment.

THEY ARE CORRUPT and do not give a shit about workers. All the genuine activists were purged 60 years ago by McCarthyism.
