Did Obama have foreign policy experience?

what experience did Clinton have prior to becoming SOS? No really I don't know. But Obama delegated to others and had counselors. So why is Clinton's mess of foreign policy mistakes better than Bernie's who will be much more likely to find peaceful resolutions than the other candidate who likes to keep the war profiteers happy?
