The "Hillary is more electable" fallacy...

Over the past months, I've read multiple posts and comments suggesting that Hillary is more electable than Bernie. I can't find any evidence to support that. Just to the contrary, Bernie performs on average, 10% better than Hillary versus any of our Republican challengers in almost every state and national poll. So my question is, by what rationale are people basing this on?

Additionally, the argument that "she will have an easier time implementing her plans" is a bunch of bull. The GOP will obstruct her just as much as they did President Obama. Thinking otherwise is pure fantasy.

Just curious on the community's thoughts...

My response to those liking Bernie but stating Hillary is more electable is: He's electable if you vote for him.

I wish people would stop falling for the lame political ploy that Hillary is more electable. It's time to break that habit, and vote for the person who represents your beliefs and will work to fulfill them.

she wants boots on the ground and will start more wars in the ME.

she will not lift a finger to reign in Wall Street, improve healthcare or college affordability.
(she takes huge amounts of money from them)

Bernie already got nailed by politifact for trying that out.

The thing is, Bernie's never faced the attack machine, while Hillary has withstood it for decades. Look at the Benghazi hearings. And, Polls this early are pretty meaningless, as everyone knows. So even though they're polling about the same vs the GOP, once the GOP hits him with the socialism/taxes thing, he's toast. Particularly since he doesn't have the funds to compete financially, and also nobody as far left as him has won any major election outside of a few very blue states.
