The curse of Peggy Noonan falls upon Bernie Sanders

In 2012 Noonan predicted Romney would beat Obama.

"Slate, who said, in a conversation the night before the last presidential debate, that he thought maybe the American people were quietly cooking something up, something we don’t know about.

I think they are and I think it’s this: a Romney win."

She now just said, “It is my guess that Mr. Sanders will win in Iowa and New Hampshire.”

Good luck.

By the way, why do so many right wings nuts write puff pieces about Sanders?

.............the 2012 presidential election, despite polling to the contrary, because she saw some of his yard signs. Now, four years later, she has not only been allowed to keep her job as a well-paid professional political pundit and analyst, but also to continue to make political predictions. It’s true: Peggy Noonan has been in no way restrained, barred, embargoed, or disallowed from writing down and publishing political predictions, in the Wall Street Journal.

from the embedded link......

"And there's the thing about the yard signs. In Florida a few weeks ago I saw Romney signs, not Obama ones," professional political expert Peggy Noonan writes. "Is it possible this whole thing is playing out before our eyes and we're not really noticing because we're too busy looking at data on paper instead of what's in front of us?"

No.

... someone here posted that they saw way more Bernie signs and bumper-stickers in their neighbourhood - and offered that as proof that the pollsters showing HRC ahead of Bernie are all lying to us!

Apparently Noonan's yard sign theory of presidential election predictability has been adopted by some folks right here on DU.

In 2012 a random person incorrectly predicted the winner of the presidency.

And now her decisions are a curse?

Damn. lol

know that Bernie's brand of socialism will allow and encourage the kind of main-street economic activity that sustains a connected community in a way that no corporate extraction of value can hope to accomplish. At the same time, their jobs as bought national pundits and tanksters are in great peril if such a renaissance were to come.

So they're both fascinated and terrified by President Bernie.
