(74 posts)Does anyone know when this is all going to be over and the results will start coming in?
I'm debating between going to the gym for a couple of hours or sitting home and stuffing my face with carry out and watching MSNBC.

(7,318 posts)how organized the precintcts are, how polarized the voters are, and how efficently the candidate's teams can corral people to their teams. Based on my experience in other states, it can be anywhere from 1 1/2 hrs to 3 hrs.
There should be delegate counts starting to trickle out in the smaller, polarized, or older voter precincts by 8:45 or 9:00 pm.

(18,775 posts)anyway, numerous people are saying it, along with posting photos. because they're there. which makes it faster than waiting for the tv news to say the same thing.
I'd be sad if my candidate required low turnout to win.

(7,010 posts)and more liberal candidates are nearly always the beneficiaries of large turnouts, at least that's what history indicates.

(45,806 posts)with questions of where to go to caucus and what they have to do, that They've never done this before.5 To me that's a lot more proof than Twitter that turnout is going to be high. They're now showing one of the Iowa sites where they are now registering a LOT OF PEOPLE. The guy who's on site is saying this crowd is bigger than the one they had when Obama ran.

(6,589 posts)They showed a really long line for people registering now. And most of them looked young. No idea if they were Sanders people but I have a feeling they were!
Hoping the rural areas are also seeing Sanders people coming out!

I'm guessing the young voters in that long line weren't wearing Rick Santorum buttons.
