Iowa is not the most liberal state in the union. Plus it appears Sanders is doing better with lower income peeps. As we go into poorer states, I think he can do better.

(6,409 posts)A couple weeks ago, it was, "Sanders cannot win in Iowa." Now he must not lose. I have a funny feeling if he won by 20 points, it would be, "Sanders must win by 25 points."

Hillary Clinton, in contrast, ran a now infamous 3 a.m. ad with a reportedly "racist sub-message" against Obama in 2008. According to Harvard sociologist Orlando Patterson's New York Times op-ed titled "The Red Phone in Black and White," Hillary Clinton resorted to exploiting racial fears during 2008's heated competition for the White House:
