When anyone posts anything critical of Bernie Sanders what do Sanders's support's do?
Do they counter rational arguments in the message with valid rational arguments of their own? No! The immediately attack the messenger and shout: It's a conspiracy, It's a conspiracy!!!
When anyone posts anything complementary of Hillary Clinton, what do Sanders's support's do?

I have seen this reaction time and time again. Is it because Sanders' supporters have no rational arguments to counter points made by those who are critical of Sanders or complementary of Clinton, or is it because they are too lazy indulge in actual debate so they take the easy way out?
Oh yea, I can hear the response to this post now - the guy who wrote this piece is a right wing nut job! Then it should be easy for you to counter his points with your superior socialist talking points. What are you going to in the general election when all of he attacks are coming from the right wing? Do you think that yelling It's a conspiracy, It's a conspiracy!!! will you convince undecided voters?
It is the for Sanders supporters to realize that this is not a place here to act like high school cheerleaders, it is a place to discuss serious discussions.

(5,892 posts)and then say I mean just me. You'll forgive me for not elucidating myself on your perspective. I think we can agree both sides are now committed to their nominee

(114,904 posts)not a scrap of evidence for your claims. You are the one that makes discussion impossible.

(57,349 posts)You then repeatedly argued that it was perfectly acceptable to use sources like that to illustrate what Bernie supporters should expect from the right wing. When I asked you whether or not you would be fine with Bernie supporters posting hit pieces from FreeRepublic, Breitbart, etc. to "illustrate" what Republicans think about Hillary you refused to answer me.
Your refusal to edit the op and explain why you think that kind of behaviour is only acceptable when you're the one doing it told me everything I needed to know about you.
Posting yet another nasty op full of strawmen and bullshit accusations about us and THEN asking for civil dialogue isn't the way to go about it.
You never wanted a serious discussion.
CajunBlazer
(5,648 posts)you attacked the messenger instead of the message. Real classy.
And what are you going to do when, if Bernie gets the nomination, all of the attacks are coming fast and furious form only the right wing? What are you going to do - whine and complain the attackers are all right wingers? I were Bernie, I wouldn't want you in my foxhole. He deserves better than that.
But when came to recognizing which in particular of the Sanders' supporters I was writing about - you stepped right up. You saw that the shoe fit you and you wore it. Excellent.

Sanders, like almost every other Big Jew in America, is also a rabid Russia basher *
See I know what rabid anti-Semitic bigots are saying about Bernie, trust me we ALL do, we just object to reading that garbage when it comes from inside the house. If someone were to post a racist article from the KKK about Obama here so we could all "see" what we're missing it would be hidden, and rightly so. The jury failed to do its duty for your op but it won't be forgotten.
Note to jury: this isn't a false claim, it's an exact quote. Google the op's name and tomatobubble on DU and you'll find it.

That way you can't use the pathetic excuse that calling out duers us against the rules.

(643 posts)I don't see it that way.
Here's the thing- I am new to this site and as a relative outsider, it's clear that the Sanders supporters are more active, and quite passionate. I've seen it get a little nasty, sure. But at the same time when you say Sanders supporters have "no rational arguments to counter points" is simply not accurate. I've seen lots of good counter-points and while I am possibly biased, as a Sanders supporter, I'd actually say I see less response by the Clinton supporters to criticisms of her. If you want to engage in a serious discussion based on the issues that face this country I'm game. What do you have?
CajunBlazer
(5,648 posts)Since you are new you need to know that the reason most Clinton supporters don't post on DU-P is because they are horrified by the actions of the Bernie Bro's that they post here regularly.
casperthegm
(643 posts)Cajun, that almost sounds like a Trump excuse; I'm offended, so I'm gonna take my ball and go home. I promise, I'll be civil, if you choose to engage in a debate on the issues. I've got plenty of questions for you regarding your support for Hillary. Feel like exchanging questions? Or was your post just to try to prove a point?

(643 posts)I have 8 posts, half of them devoted to try to engage you in any kind of meaningful conversation. Alright, I'll play your game but that means you'll need to answer my question for you, ok?
The reasons/issues behind my support for Sanders;
He wants to reinstate Glass Steagall.
He won't accept money from Wall Street or K Street.
He voted against Iraq
His sincere concern for the environment and immediate stance taken on Keystone.
His positions on income inequality
His long history of supporting gay marriage
His honesty
His sincerity
His opposition to Citizens United
His call for campaign finance reform
His call for medical coverage for all citizens
His opposition to a no-fly zone in Syria
Those are a few, right off the bat. Ok, my turn Cajun;
Can you answer this prior post that no Clinton supporter was able to; Gay Marriage flip flop, Keystone flip flop, huge sums of money from Wall Street, opposition to Glass Steagall, voting for the war in Iraq, email investigation, etc. And just last night Clinton acts indignant at the audacity for Sanders to imply that Wall Street could ever influence her vote. Name one instance where it has? Ok, Elizabeth Warren vs Hillary Clinton (2004) on youtube.

(5,648 posts)But she didn't just put out one liners like your, she actually defended herself and Bill against the charged made. That's something Bernie supporters never get around to doing.
To many long, solid, involved articles complementing Sanders or criticizing Sanders all you Sanders supporters can muster is - "its a capitalist hit piece" or "do you know who the author is" or "its so terrible that they are picking o9n poor ole Bennie" either for intellectual laziness or because they got noting in rebuttal". With supporters like you guys, Sanders doesn't.....
The all of your Bennie bothers and sisters give you rec's for you cute responses because they have nothing either.

(643 posts)Look how many times on this thread I've tried to engage the OP in any kind of discussion on the issues. Looks like cajun is not really looking to have an open discussion, just prove himself right. Hope other Clinton supporters can put up a better showing than that.

It is very rational and reasonable to question what happened in Iowa. Anyone who wants integrity of our elections should want to have this satisfied.
It is very reasonable to ask for the transcripts for the Goldman Sachs Speeches. We our electing our president and there are legitimate questions about big money buying elections.
It is very reasonable to question Madame Clinton's integrity because she is on video contradicting her own positions every day.
It is very reasonable to question the corporate controlled media who bankroll these candidates.
It is very reasonable to question the electronic voting systems like Diebold and Microsoft.
Some people try to bully those with legitimate questions by calling them conspiracy theorists.
