The constant negative publicity on what happened there raises public awareness across the whole country and it keeps the fires lit under the feet of the Republicans who caused it, as well as the agencies who have to come up with a solution to fix the problem.

11. That's a fair point and captures an important distinction between Hill and Bernie:

Bernie basically promises to redo the Obama recovery, this time with punitive disruptions, which is frankly foolish.

Hillary promises to get things done, and we have a ton of problems that I'm confident that she'll tackle, including the fate of adults with autism. We've more or less figured out how to accommodate autistic children but what happens when this sizable cohort survives into adulthood? It's just one of many problems I don't see Bernie taking any interest in whatsoever. Not a jot. But it's important.
