How dishonest is Billy's current lying smear? He is doing his best

Last edited Mon Feb 8, 2016, 12:30 PM - Edit history (1)

to conflate Bernie attending DSCC fundraisers for the purpose of raising money for democratic candidates, with Hillary's record of sucking up millions and millions from the Wall street trough to enrich herself personally and fund her campaigns.

Hillary would not be where she is without her dirty Wall Street money. Bernie is where he is because people support him, not fat cats.

Bill and Hill: Inartful smear merchants.

Yes, they have attacked Sanders for not raising money for Democrats. And the same people are now attacking Sanders for raising money for Democrats.

Once you accept their only goal is to attack Sanders, it becomes much easier to follow.

But I'd call him "Bubba" to his face and he'd think I'd fallen for his "I'm just a harmless folksy flannel-wearin' kinda guy" con and think I was in his fold. And that would be my little con on him.

But then I'd tell him that I'm mad as hell at what the Democratic Party has become and that his DLC was the start of hollowing out the Party from within.

To insinuate that others are not dems? This is definitely a theme I am seeing repeated again and again by the Hillary supporters. You call Bernie supporters names and if we say anything about your precious, we are right wing. Your candidate has decades of baggage. So much so that it is more common knowledge than rightwing smear.

If I recall, it is the people of Bill Clinton's home state that gave him the nickname of Slick Willie when he was governor.

He attracts crowds much the same way and for nearly the reasons Trump attracts crowds that's why Hillary rolls him out.

Bill represents part of the problem in the same way Hillary does.

Bill's comments this weekend are certainly fair game for criticism and push back. However, addressing him with the nickname used by the OP is insulting and only devalues any meaningful discussion attempted by the OP. This is a website aimed towards Democrats. RW slurs and talking points have no place here.

The formation of the DLC was like putting up the sign: Dems Now Open For Business.

Such hypocrisy ---either he isn't Dem enough or is so Dem he fundraises to them. This was a party event, all the Senators are asked to attend. He did the proper thing and now he is accused of being on the low level of Hillary. The Clintons and their pals are as low as they come. They can give it but whine when they get it even when it is the truth.
