If we'd just can the F35, we could send everyone to college and come out $500bn ahead!

The Air Force needs the Army to not complain too much about the F-35. So the Air Force threatens to pull the A-10 to keep the army quiet about the F-35.

That way, all the branches want the F-35!

(It doesn't help that the A-10 isn't "sexy&quot

They want to shitcan one of the greatest CAS aircraft in history.... For a failed Swiss Army Knife of a jet that is currently, a hemorrhage of money. But hey, the military-industrial complex still profits. What's it matter if we lose a couple hundred pilots, right?

Half the machinery they order up is only to keep jobs in some Congressman's district so they'll be re-elected again. There have been pieces of equipment that have come off the manufacturing line and gone straight to the bone yard.
