What will DLC/centrists/New Democrats in House & Senate do if Bernie is elected president?

Will they follow his lead or side with Republicans in obstructing his agenda?

Quite frankly, that branch of the party is all for party loyalty when they are the beneficiaries.

But if they have to choose between progressive Democratic colleagues or even progressive constituents on the one hand and big donors on the other, they usually go with the money.

What do you think they will do?

Bernie's coattails aren't going to help people who try to be Republican-lite.

his mandate.

Put out some bold progressive proposals and if the corporatistas don't back him, cut off their legs in the primaries (the way corporatistas like Debbie Wasserman Schultz have done to progressives) and find a progressive to primary them.

And get back to the 50 state strategy so if some can't be removed, they could be replaced by progressives in previously Republican states.

Obama could have done this if he ran ads in states that refused Obamacare Medicaid money and driven a stake in the dying GOP vampire for good.

some will help Bernie, some will obstruct him (like Blanche Lincoln did everything to impede health care reform) and some will say "Third Way or the Highway" and look for an early retirement with K street jobs on the side.

but this would be worse. You can't govern without consensus and you won't have consensus in America about Democratic socialist policies

Had to contend with the blue dogs, Bernie will have to compromise and work with them. I don't see much courage in Congress.

Just in case of a vapors attack. Fainting couches to be installed in the Democratic caucus rooms.
