2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forum"90 percent of the 20-member board of the CBC’s PAC"
So 18 members of the board of the Congressional Black Caucus' Political Action Committee are gonna lend their support to Sec. Clinton? That's cool.
Y'all were making it should like all 40+ Congressional Black Caucus members would be at the podium doing an endorsement.

(2,975 posts)you'll hear very little of the difference between the PAC board for CBC and the CBC itself.
More identity politics, the people at the top speak, the remainder either ignored entirely or celebrated individually, everyone else fall in line when your socio-racial-economic leadership group says so.

(18,402 posts)This is a silly discussion, trying to downplay AA endorsements by writing of the CBC Pac as unrepresentative.

(7,769 posts)Only proves they are loyal to Clinton.
Didn't do anything to help her win a nomination then.
And WaPo spinning it like it belies some massive support from the Black community won't help either.
The African-American primary vote is split.
Can Sec Clinton win a nomination like that? Nobody as answered that question.
