He could take a lesson from Obama on how to keep cool.

(2,117 posts)10. At least MSNBC has not been completely trashing Obama
They're pointing out his mistakes, yes, but they spend far more time discussing how egregiously Romney acted.

(3,678 posts)14. Ed is prone to rampant emotionalism.
I can't watch, even if I agree with many of his positions. I just need a calmer, more reasonable tone (like Maddow).

(5,810 posts)15. Ed was better tonight. He had his hissy fit last night.
Loved his opening bit tonight. Like a coach coming for the post game interview.
I think he got the anger/disappointment at Obama out of his system last night.
Tonight he was ready to take on Romney's tactics. And I think we should take the hint and quit agonizing over things that are over and done. I am pretty sure Obama has heard of our dissatisfaction and angst. His experience at the next debate surely will be a different one than what he had last night.
I noticed a marked difference in all of the MSNBC people who were apoplectic last night. Most had calmed down considerably and were ready to get back to reporting the latest tid bit, twist and turn of this campaign.
Ed's right. We just need to hunker down and ride this thing out. The odds are still on our side. Romney has not won yet.
