(18,133 posts)She may be the only unelectable Dem

(16,286 posts)The system is so corrupt someone like him could NOT have a chance.
But something unusual is happening and it may well result in a very dramatic result in November.
As a Bernie supporter this would make me very happy, although I would be also happy to be able to go to a rightwinger on any given board and tell them to get used to addressing our president as
MS. HILLARY CLINTON

(50,254 posts)I'll be ok with it if HRC beats the right in the fall.
randys1
(16,286 posts)and I just wish Bernie supporters in social media had not acted the way they did, alienating so many non white people because the truth about Bernie is a good one...

(50,254 posts)(btw...while some of the "Berniebros" were actual supporters, and I join everybody in telling them to STFU-it is likely that at a significant number are trolls recruited by David Brock...the man we can now call the Donald Segretti of the HRC campaign.)

(23,156 posts)In fact, she's looking more and more unelectable.
For a couple of months now, I think, polls have shown Bernie doing better in the general election.

(13,685 posts)She can hardly even get young women to vote for her now.
If she is our nominee we will lose to the republican.

(10,565 posts)Kind of like the polls Ed Shultz and Hannity have on their shows. The results are always something like 96-4

(13,685 posts)This is ridiculous. Hillary can't even get young women to vote for her!!

(10,879 posts)And a continued strong showing with the critical swing voters. Nothing beats direct evidence.
Bill Clinton once said
When people feel uncertain, they'd rather have somebody that's strong and wrong than somebody who's weak and right.
I'd add
"Strong and right is unbeatable."
That said, Sanders remains a long shot. It's crunch time for him (and his supporters). Will there be enough time for voters in the next states to recognize his strength and vision for a better future? I just don't know.

(2,760 posts)The GOP may nominate Trump or Cruz, I never thought that would happen.
I still think Bernie loses to Rubio, Bush or Kasich.
RobertEarl
(13,685 posts)and show them up as sucking up to big money.
Of course, if the elite Democrats run away from the party and suck up to republicans like they did bush, then you have a point.
