http://www.mediaite.com/tv/busted-msnbc-butchers-bill-clinton-mid-quote-to-make-him-slam-obama/OK, I hope this is a genuine myth busted, because if Bill said this, he is an idiot. After all, that "firewall" that is talked about so much is done only because Hillary casts herself as the one that will continue Obama's legacy.

(14,733 posts)From what was reported earlier, I know I wasn't the only one wondering if Bill was deliberately trying to scuttle Hillary's run.

(13,960 posts)and if this is a slip up, frankly, Hillary might need to send big Dawg off on vacation for a bit. I might not be one of Hillary's biggest fans, but I sure as hell do not want Bill's big mouth to help put Trump or Cruz in office.

(13,960 posts)Just like I will join you in November trying to keep the GOP out of office, I will gladly join you in throwing Rotten Tomatoes at MSNBC. They are a classic 5th Column.

(47,209 posts)I almost think it was designed to take away from the excellent job BOTH candidates did the other night.
The more I watch, the more I believe every bit of it is scripted. Still like Maddow, but that is about it.

Hillary is +30 in these polls yet she knows no one who wants Hillary.
She is as bad as Mark Levin.

A lot of people say you dont understand its rigged now, Clinton said. Yeah, its rigged now because you dont have a president thats a change-maker.
And here is the choice comment
He did say something that will not play well in some circles. Period, full stop, end of discussion.

(13,960 posts)The source I quoted could easily be interpreted as him MAKING FUN OF what some people say, a classic device. The guardian seems to say something else.
However, if the reality is more like the Guardian, then Bill needs to be taken to the woodshed, period.
nadinbrzezinski
(154,021 posts)and the guardian quote is worst, IMO of course.

(13,960 posts)indeed, I did the op to expose the bad editing that was done to make your candidate look bad, and condemned it. So, if you have a point it is not clear. I even highlighted that fact that Bill was talking about what OTHERS said, and that it was therefor unlikely HE said it. I even called for Rotten tomatoes to be thrown at MSNBC
unless of course your objection is to the fact that if he really did mean Obama was not a game changer, it would be a dumb thing. And it WOULD, which is why thankfully Bill did not make that error. Whatever games Hillary may change, will be built on the ways HE changed the game, and from HER speeches, Hillary would be the first to say that herself.
I cannot even make a post defending Hillary without getting static? Wow.
