prevent the savings and loan crisis?

This has always seemed like a misplaced priority. What Obama's financial team has done in shoring up the bank industry's reserves is much more important to avoiding a future 2008.

I won't ask why it's hard to understand, I think I can make a reasonable guess. But you have a lovely day anyways.

and the people who put their money in them knew they were investing in a possible risk. The rest of us who wanted nothing to do with Wall Street had our money in the commercial banks. NOT so today.

It's a long read, but to understand more about how big money works and why it's such a major plank in Bernie's philosophy, and why common folk/i.e. the disappearing Middle Class, need his help, it's important.

What she said is the very essence of trying to make everything into a "single issue", in way. In some sort of reverse.

There is not even a correlation, let alone any hint of causation, between racism, sexism, and the existence of big banks, so it is an absurdly false equivalency.

She'll be the first woman President(actually, just in the US, but that's the most important part of the world, isn't?), so sexism will immediately be dealt a fatal blow. Then she'll tell the racists to do...something. She hasn't specified.

That's about the extent of the plan that she's chosen to share with us.
