If you have to send the Republican Speaker of the House to North Carolina to shore up support only 4 weeks from an election?

it's a toss up here. probably the very closest race of all the swing states.

i don't really see boehner helping romney though, congress is so unpopular. but it did get top billing on the local news station. sigh.

For example:
"If he spent less time in the tanning booth and more time actually working with his colleagues (across the aisle as well as in his party) like he was elected to do, perhaps he wouldn't be so heavily to blame for Congress's complete ineptitude."

on the plus side of course, it's a lot harder for a woman to get reproductive health care. are you implying that congress has not done their job????

especially if I had a chance to ask Boehner why if this country is struggling as badly (as he will undoubtedly say it is), he has so much time to go around and campaign for Romney. Shouldn't he be doing his job? I guess he hasn't been doing it for 2 years though, so why would he start now?
