The momentum is with Bernie.

They are indeed running scared. They should just stop running for a second and realize that HRC is finished.

They (TPTB) desperately want to run against Hillary. It's their only chance at a November victory and that's true regardless of who wins the GE.

Why is it bad for Bernie to have 65,000 in debt and not for college students?

Bernie paid for two weddings for members of his family, and then paid the cards off in their entirety.

The timing of the financial disclosure report was the sole reason that he held the debt.

This is less than a non-story.....

He has 'up to 65k of debt on his credit card. You have to check a box'. They have no clue at all what his actual debt is.

I bet just about every single Congressperson out there checked the same box, or even one higher.

So basically, the story there is that he actually HAS credit cards, and maybe some credit card debt.

FOUND IT. Here is the spot on opensecrets.org that they're touting as $65k in debt.

Liabilities 2 totaling $25,001 to $65,000

So he checked a box saying he has 2 'liabilities' that total between 25k an 65k. I'm going to take a wild guess that that is NOT 'credit card debt', but is actually maybe a car loan and a mortgage, or a line of credit on his house?

So even if he does have 25k to 65k in debt, overall, he's still above water in net terms, which is certainly better than most Americans. Hardly makes the case that this is someone you 'can't trust with finances'.

The phrasing is awfully suspicious. And even if he did, put your kid's wedding on them and it'll go up fast. And the breathless 'he's been on unemployment when he was younger' ... like the rest of the damn country at some time or another? Lawdy, lawdy!

Just proves he's not on the gravy train like so many others in government.

http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/politics/2015/06/11/sanders-discloses-credit-card-debt/71088862/

Sanders' spokesman, Michael Briggs, said Sanders' credit card debt rises and falls with expenses, which included weddings for his daughter and niece in the past year. As of a few months ago, he said, the balance was down to zero again.

"He's a regular American who has credit card bills," Briggs said. "To that extent, he's living the life that a lot of people are living."

... and even if they think they can demonize Bernie with this news, all they are doing is telling so many of us that he's with us because he understands what so many of us are dealing with when those clueless oligarch servants push so much debt on us now these days, and redistribute the nation's wealth to themselves. THEY just don't get it!!

Lets see if the Clinton's are careful about money...

"According to the Daily Mail, Clinton will spend her upcoming break from the campaign trail at a $50,000-per-week beachfront rental in the Hamptons along with Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, her son-in-law Marc Mezvinsky, and her new granddaughter, Charlotte. The four-bedroom Amagansett mansion, which Clinton is renting for the second consecutive year from Republican donor Andre Nasser and his wife Lois, features a 50 ft pool and a private beach. The two week rental will cost the Clintons nearly twice the U.S.’ median household income ($51,939, as of September 2014)."

http://time.com/money/4002916/hillary-clinton-vacation-rental/

Now let's see the fucking transcripts-that vacation must have cost over 1/2 a speech!!!
