The economist who vouched for Bernie Sanders big liberal plans is voting for Hillary Clintonhttps://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/02/18/the-economist-who-validated-bernie-sanders-big-liberal-plans-is-voting-for-hillary-clinton/
From the article:
I support Clinton, he said in an interview on Thursday. I donate $10 a month to Clinton. I remember the woman who said, womens rights are human rights. I think she did a great job as secretary of state. I agree with Bernie on economic issues, but there are other issues."
Friedman came under attack this week by a group of liberal economists, including Austan Goolsbee, Alan Krueger and other former top economic advisers to Democratic presidents. They called his analysis of Sanders agenda including free college for all, massive infrastructure spending and single-payer health care, all funded through sweeping tax increases extreme claims that cannot be supported by economic evidence.
I for one welcome a good read and another Clinton supporter.

OP
His analysis of the effect of Sanders programs on the economy was deeply flawed.

And so begins the scraping away of the Sanders teflon, and with it, the revolution.

No.

For every variable, he chose a model that was the most extremely favorable. Combined together, it produced a theoretical outcome that has no basis in reality. It was truly absurd. NO economic program could possibly have that effect on the U.S. economy.
The Sanders campaign really should distance itself from this character. Almost makes me think it could have been a setup since he's a Clinton supporter.
