If Gore had thrown the left even a SINGLE bone, he would have been President. His Third Wayish handlers made sure he stayed completely in Clinton mode, though, condemning us to 8 years of Bush.

Of course, if we hadn't had 8 years of Bush first, I think we probably would have had Clinton next, instead of Obama. People wouldn't have been as desperate for change, and would have settled for yet more Third Wayism.
