(28,749 posts)These shirts look nothing alike beyond the fact that they are both red.
This is a non-story.
And it's ridiculous it keeps getting posted, can't tell the difference between shirts that clearly says "Bernie" or "Hillary"... Then I can't help you.

(28,749 posts)I posts the same tweets again...
And again.
We will be hearing about this all day apparently.
"This is just the latest in a series of questionable tactics the Hillary Clinton campaign has engaged in during the week leading up to the Nevada caucus. Earlier this week, ABC News confirmed an instance of push polling, which, as Las Vegas-based author Nolan Dalla pointed out in a recent viral blog post, comes straight from the Karl Rove playbook of dirty campaign tricks"

(8,541 posts)"When ABC News presented the audio recording to an aide with the Clinton campaign, the aide said the campaign could neither confirm nor deny that the audio was from polling done by the campaign or an outside group affiliated with the campaign.
However, the aide argued that it was an example of message-testing polling, common among all campaigns."

(19,926 posts)when they saw the press. It certainly woudn't be the first thing like this that Hillary has ever done. This is an illustration of both how and why her trust rating is at 6%.
Statement below:
At a large caucus at the New York casino Clinton staffers were wearing red t-shirts, despite the fact that Clinton has branded blue the entire campaign. Red is if course associated with National Nurses United, has been our color for years and well known in nurses campaigning for Sanders in red scrubs, red shirts, and even our red Bernie Buses that have been prominent in early voting states.
When our nurses walked into the room with cameras and a couple press the Clinton staffers ran over to the corner and quickly changed to blue shirts.
In our view they are trying to exploit the credibility of the nurses (just as Sanders is viewed as the most trusted candidate) to deceive voters walking into the caucuses.

(19,926 posts)You must be able to understand that when you see a big group of one color, a color that is associated with a certain organization, a color that has yet to be associated with Clinton, your brain will generally associate it with the certain organization.
So here's some questions then...
Why, when their campaign is branded as blue, did they all of a sudden start wearing red at the caucus?
Why did they change back into the blue shirts when they were pointed out to the press?
Why should anybody ever trust Hillary when she ran a dirty, sleazy campaign in 2008 and is catching up to that this time around and when she constantly lies?
Could it be a nothing story? Yes. But being that it is about Hillary that is doubtful. Based on character, or lack there of, and past actions coupled with desperation due to slipping poll numbers, it seems more than likely this was a meant as a dirty trick.

And there's pictures of it too so it does seem like they were trying to confuse the caucus goers. Hmmm...

(47,209 posts)anyway. I am not getting why the color of the T shirts makes a dimes worth of difference. I have seen both red and blue (and white) shirts for both candidates for months. Is all of that a conspiracy of some sort?
dana_b
(11,546 posts)lol... but if people were looking for the nurses in the red shirts who are caucusing for Bernie, and the Clinton people, who have always been wearing blue shirts, put on the red shirts in order to confuse people, then yeah, it smells a little bit like funny tricks.
The fact that they took off their red shirts and had the blue shirts on underneath is what looks pretty slimy.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)If they were always planning to be on one side of the room- and both sides have been using both colors.... I don't get it. They had both red and blue shirts- probably produced by different advocacy groups. That kind of stuff happens.

(19,926 posts)they are for Hillary. It makes perfect sense.
Hillary's campaign has been branded as blue from the start. All of a sudden today they start wearing red shirts.

(47,209 posts)while wearing a Bernie shirt. If that was a "plan" it's a stupid one.
I saw red tees at her kickoff in NYC, Bernie wearing blue, Hillary red...and both teams use both colors. I think a lot of small groups are just doing what they want and people just grabbed tees and thought about it later.
