So did Harry Reid just hand the primary to Hillary?

He called in all his chips with his supporters among the culinary workers union. Polls had shown fairly tilting towards Bernie till some last minute calls.

Congrats to Hillary on her win, BTW.

538 gave Hillary a 71% chance of winning. The polling average spiked for Hillary at the end 50-46. It's not a big surprise she won.

Of course he backed the establishment candidate and did what he could in his state for her.

But, Bernie won more delegates than was expected, H lost more than was expected.

It would have been terribly embarrassing for Reid if his own state crushed the establishment candidate.

Politicians like him have ways of manipulating things to go their way.

That's why I like Bernie so much. He's a much more honest dealer than most politicians.

were afraid to caucus, because they could be easily identified, and voting (the "wrong" way) would have negative repercussions for their jobs.

Said the ones who wanted to vote for Bernie couldn't because it was a caucus and everyone would know their vote. I lived in Nevada for 9 years and was involved in politics there, and this is exactly how that fucking Reid operates.

That's what networking within a party gets you. Hillary hs 40 years of Democratic Party networking. Sanders has none.
