So, how long will Sanders really go?

Last edited Sun Feb 21, 2016, 04:45 PM - Edit history (1)

The easy answer is, as long as he's actually doing better than Obama was at the same stage in 2008, which is exactly what all the numbers say (other than the count of fixed as opposed to voted-for delegates). Long as that's so, then obviously he will go to November, and have a really nice inauguration on Jan 20.

If that joyous trend should not continue over the next months, however, still I believe he will go as long as he's still getting the funding to keep going, for a simple reason: He actually believes what he says! He wants to stir up some movement. He isn't playing the standard political game. He sure ain't looking to please the awful nomenklatura that poses as the owners of a democratic party in exchange for some later promotion to a "position of influence" or for some totally void promise of "moving Clinton to the left." (Ha ha ha!)

And that's one reason I just sent him $50. You can do the same, click here: http://berniesanders.com/

seeing that he has received only 60% of the popular vote so far. Oh, wait, no he shouldn't.

Sorry, that information is the private property of Democratic Nomenklatura, Inc. If you had the day off to do the caucus thing -- sorry, shift workers! -- and didn't get turned away at the door, you got to be non-counted and see some mysterious production of the delegate numbers by coin-flip, so be happy!

one, becsuse he said that this morning, and two, if there is any chance of clinton legal problems, he has to be at the convention to claim his delegates. if he drops out before then, the estsblishment elite can stick in anyone they want, which is, of course, why they are trying to drive bernie out before the convention.

too bad so sad. the elite can suck on it.

I think Obama/Biden are passive Bernie supporters, and Obama gave Bernie the lowdown on Hillary's legal issues.

the elites are in a pickle. they can't drag their feet forever on this email/foundation thing, and they desperately want bernie to drop out before the convention so they can stick their stooge of choice in there when hillary has to drop. but bernie is not leaving so they will have no choice but to nominate him.

I was bummed out and feeling blue and then I said "fuck it, I'm thrilled that a serious left wing candidate is running a serious campaign for president. Win, lose or draw, this is how we change the world."

Get out your damn wallet.
